"In most land-based bees rain, and even mist, can impede their ability to fly. Not so the 'Misty' bee, which has developed water-repellent bristles, allowing them to fly unimpeded by moisture."

The Misty Bee is a Tier 2 Social Bee species found by cross-breeding.

It is the first new species found from cross-breeding that requires a specific weather to be active when the parent queen dies.
