"Conserving a species is its own reward, but you might make a name for yourself if you do!"

Conservation is a mechanic in the game where the player can increase the population of a species in the world to increase its conversation level. By using a Rehabilitator, players can release bees back into the wild - each bee released adds to their conservation count.

Fully conserving a species will give the player a Magazine collectible.

Conservation Levels

All species start out with a conservation level of "Lost", with the exception of the Common Bee, Forest Bee and the Verge Bee, which all start out with a conservation level of "Thriving".

Conservation Level No. Bees Released Message In Book
Lost 0-4 Rehabilitate more bees to save this species!
Vulnerable 5-11 Rehabilitate more bees to save this species!
Rallying 12-19 You're almost there, keep it up!
Thriving 20+ This species is saved, all thanks to you!

After maxing out the conservation level of a species and receiving the Magazine for that species, no further benefit is given by releasing more bees (outside of the usual storage management).
