Imposter Bee

"While initially seeming insidious, the act of borrowing other hives during Hallowbeen is actually due to Fictus' being unable to create their own, and other bees just feel really bad for them."

The Imposter Bee is a Tier 3 Social Bee species found during the Hallowbeen event. They will spawn randomly in hives where the queen has just finished it's cycle, regardless of the time, biome, or weather.

Like other event related bees + butterflies, the Candycane Bee is not required to beat the game.

When asking Dr Beenjamin BhD for a hint he says the following:
Those Imposter Bees are not as scary as people think - all this nonsense of them working their way into a hive and ousting the existing one. In reality they're just looking for a place to stay during the Hallowbeen month.

When a Imposter Bee is used in a Basic Apiary and fills Frames, they can produce when extracted.

Trivia

• The Frankenspice spice can be used to make a mead that temporarily sets the Hallowbeen event for the rest of the day
• The Imposter Bee is technically the fastest way the player can get the "Any" climate trait, as events can be activated as soon as the game begins.
