Drowsy Bee

From APICO Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

"Many early Islanders thought this species was afraid of people, such are its secretive schedules. In fact, the 'Drowsy' bee is literally sleeping, restoring its energy for the cool hours of the day."

The Drowsy Bee is a Tier 2 Social Bee species found by cross-breeding.

It is the first species found from cross-breeding that requires a specific time outside of just general daytime.

Book2 Item.pngHints

The Apiarist's Almanac gives the following hint:
This species is a mix of Raris and Silva, that has only been known to be found during dawn or dusk..

When asking Dr Beenjamin BhD for a hint he says the following:
Inexperienced beginners do find it difficult to time a Forest-Uncommon Queen to produce offspring during dawn or dusk, but experts like myself never have that sort of trouble.

Hive1 Item.pngCross-breeding

When Cross-Breeding the Drowsy Bee with the following other species there is a chance for the offspring to mutate into a new species!

As with all mutations, the offspring of the hybrid queen needs to also be a hybrid, so this can effect the chances listed below.
