The Primordial Bee is a Tier 4 Social Bee species is a special species found in the underwater Geode Caves.

There are three different underwater areas that have an entrance to a Geode Cave when the sludge is cleared, only one of them has the Primordial Bee inside.

Hints

The Apiarist's Almanac gives the following hint:
This species can only be found in forgotten places, hidden beneath the seabed..

When asking Dr Beenjamin BhD for a hint he says the following:
Primordial huh? Your Grandfather predictied a common ancestor, a precursor of even the Jurassic Bees you found, but I don't know of any places that old. Perhaps the Director might have some ideas?

Special Produce

When a Primordial Bee is used in a Basic Apiary and fills Frames, they can produce when extracted.


Cross-breeding

When Cross-Breeding the Primordial Bee with the following other species there is a chance for the offspring to mutate into a new species!

As with all mutations, the offspring of the hybrid queen needs to also be a hybrid, so this can effect the chances listed below.
